The following terms and conditions apply to all work carried out by Palm Breeze – unless specifically stated within the quotation description or agreed in writing.

 

Warranties

Warranty on new installations of air conditioning systems, ventilation units or heat pump products will be eligible for manufacturers warranty (durations differ dependant on manufacturers terms), if supplied and installed by Palm Breeze.

 

Warranty on new installations is valid for 12 months, effective from the date of commissioning and is on a ‘parts only’ basis.

Condensate pumps for dispelling water will only be covered for 12 months.

 

Workmanship warranty is valid for 12 months for all new installations of air conditioning systems, heat pump products and ventilation units.

 

Insurances 

We are covered by £3 Million Public Liability Insurance.

 

Exclusions 

 

• Mains Electrical Work (If not stated in the quotation).

• Any professional trade works other than that of Palm Breeze.

• Technical/CAD drawings.

• Crainage or Lifting Activity.

• Diamond Drilling (Larger than 75mm).

• The provision of welfare.

• No allowance has been made in our quotation to obtain any permits, permissions or approvals that may be require to carry out any installation. These must be obtained by the client.

• Specialist Access Equipment.

• Making good/Redecoration works are not included in any quote or work carried out by Palm Breeze, as a result of system/unit installation or removal.

 

Program

Our offer is based upon the works being carried out during normal working hours. Monday to Friday 08.00-17.00 Hours.

 

Assumptions

 

• We assume that all necessary permissions will be in place to enable Palm Breeze (or any sub-contractor working for Palm Breeze) to undertake the project as agreed and in a timely manner.

• On site storage and parking will be provided.

• Free access to power and welfare facilities.

• Our offer is based on continuity of work, we assume that all necessary permissions will be in place to enable Palm Breeze to undertake the work unhindered. Any return visits will be at an additional cost.

• When preparing our quotation, we have assumed that there is no presence of asbestos within our working areas unless you, as our client, and the duty holder under the regulations “The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 (The Regulations) has specifically informed us otherwise.

 

Additional Information

 

• We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee should work be cancelled for reasons out of our control.

• Works will be carried out in normal working hours unless stated in our quotation.

• All our engineers for F-Gas Registered and are fully qualified and equipped to handle refrigerant gases and oils.

 

Waste Removal

Client to dispose of all packaging and waste (unless discussed in advance). Alternately we can arrange this at a cost.

 

Payment Terms 

A deposit invoice of 50% (or the value equal to the goods being installed) will be raised to secure an installation date. Upon completion of the works, the remaining balance will be invoiced and due for payment immediately (unless specified in advance on a case by case basis).

 

No allowance has been made for retention. 

 

All materials and equipment will remain the property of Palm Breeze until payment has been received in full.
Failure to make payment may result in the installed product being removed.
