Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) keeps air within the property fresh and warm.
To do this, MVHR systems remove stale air from inside and replaces it with clean, fresh air from outside. But before the warm, stale air is expelled, the heat is subtracted and used to heat the fresh incoming air.
MVHR systems are best suited to new build properties (or properties going through full renovation) as they require duct work to be installed throughout. They require work to both internal and external walls, with openings visible from outside.
